Assegno Amico non-profit organization
Assegno Amico is a non-profit organization, founded by the Gaslini Foundation. Participating as associates are: Associazione Industriali della Provincia di Genova, Banca Carige, Gemeaz Cusin, Lynkeus and Zara Assicurazioni.
The organization promotes and supports the use of the "Assegno Amico" voucher as an instrument of aid to those in need.
Assegno Amico a new way to give support
Assegno Amico can be defined the ticket of solidarity, in fact it is a voucher which allows those in need to buy goods or services. This arrangement brings together the contributions of the donors, beneficiaries, the private sector and non-profit organizations. Donations are transformed into vouchers that are valid at selected stores in the region. A donor's contribution is guaranteed to go directly to a person in need, while allowing the recipient to decide which goods or services to purchase with the voucher. The Gaslini Foundation promotes the use of Assegno Amico as a means of providing support to the patients and families of the Giannina Gaslini Institute.
