Gaslini International
The Gaslini International educational program is directed by SISP, International School of Paediatric Science. The courses deal with paediatric specialties in which the Gaslini is internationally acclaimed. The courses are taught by specialists of the Institute and internationally acclaimed scientists, such as, Anthony Fauci and Rolf Zinkernagel, in the infectious diseases area. In 2005 four courses will be held by Gaslini International:
- Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Clinical Microbiology module I (June 2005)
- Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Clinical Microbiology module II (June 2005)
- Neonatology (September 2005)
- Paediatric Orthopaedics (September 2005)
Courses will be held at the Benedictine Abbey, in the Castagna area of Quarto and will award ECM credits. Thanks to the Gaslini International program 30 participants, coming from the Mediterranean area or from South-East Europe, will be entitled to complete reimbursement of enrolment fees and accommodation expenses.
